An upright-growing cultivar, with wide, horizontally, slightly overhanging shoots; flowers semi-double to double, dark pink in the buds, turning lighter-coloured later, having its flowering season a week later than P. subhirtella - a very free-flowering and lively-coloured cultivar, most probably the loveliest of all subhirtella cultivars.
