A rounded, dense-growing cultivar from Denmark, reaching about 1 to 1.5 m tall and wide within 10 years; young shoots are short, upright, rigid and well-branched; leaves 4 to 5 cm long, 1 cm wide, green with a strong silvery shine, leaves fall around November ? an interesting and compact plant for small areas, hedges, as a specimen or in areas that are often treated with salt; professor P.E. BRANDNER, Institute of Landskabsplanter, Hornum, Danmark selected the variety in 1965 from seedlings. D, H, St. Zone 4.
