NOBLES, Ridgeville, USA; compact growth, well-branched, approx. 1 m tall; leaves 3 to 5-lobed, dark green, deeply cut; small flowers; fruits very numerous, wine-red - purple, very tasty, red flesh, late June to early August, a second harvest possible in September to October - a rich-fruiting, healthy, drought-tolerant, hardy (down to -15° C) small shrub, well suited for home gardens as a snack fruit and especially in planters for balconies and terraces.
