Canadian breeding, growth multi-stemmed, wide upright, up to about 5 m high; leaves heart-shaped to roundish pointed, with clear texture, deeply dark red glowing, colour-stable, orange autumn tint; purple-pink flowers appear before the leaves (!) April-May - a spectacular, drought-tolerant solitaire with brilliant foliage and absolutely eye-catching during the flowering period. As a young plant winter protection recommended.
