1.8 m to 2.0 m high and tall, loosely branched shrub or little tree with thick shoots; older aged plants with an umbrella like top, building suckers which are forming close colonies; shoots are covered with dense, pink-rose hairs; leaves pinnate, shorten then of the species, deeply cutted, new growth lively green, then golden yellow, in autumn bright orange to scarlet red; flowers greenish in dense, terminal panicles, June-July; red fruits equally packed in dense, club-shaped panicles - an undemanding, ornamental plant that adapts well to calcareous sites, tolarates humid areas as well as dry ones; ideal for urban climate and giving an oriantal look with the deeply cutted hanging leaves.
