Compact shrub from the Morden research station, Canada; Growth about 1.5 m tall and wide. Feathered leaves are toothed, deeply cutted, bright yellow, later green, young shoots often bronze-red tinted; cream-white, fragrant flowering panicles from May to June; fruits in July with a scarlet color are in a very nice contrast to the yellow autumn leaves - a very hard small shrub with high decorative value and in common use as a colour contrast in garden and landscape.
